Free Stranger Safety Community Event

460,000 children are reported missing in the United States each year. Don’t let your child become a statistic.

This FREE workshop is provided by ActivStars Athletics as a public service to the community. Enrollment in ActivStars Athletics programs is not required to participate.

Children and adults are encouraged to attend. Bring family and friends for hands-on skills to protect your loved ones.

We are hosting the event at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Eustis. Eustis Police Department will be on site to support.

Safety Awareness and Abduction Prevention
– Stay alert, recognize danger, and avoid risky situations

Stranger Danger and Common Lures
– Learn tricks strangers use and how to respond with confidence

Self-Defense and Street Skills
– Use voice, awareness, and real-world self-defense techniques to stay safe

Family Rules and Outside Safety
– Establish a family code word and practice safe habits outdoors

Workshop will be geared toward specific age groups as follows.

Workshop Schedule:
6:00 – 6:45pm: Ages 4-6
6:45 – 7:30pm: Ages 7-9
7:30 – 8:15pm: Ages 10 and up

This is NOT a drop off event. Parent or guardian must be present with attending child and complete a paper waiver form upon arrival
